If you're keen to explore datasette more, feel free to check out the github page. From there you can find the examples list. There are loads of cool examples of different plugins being used.
This service also hosts a collection of datasets that you can download and explore locally. We used to host these on our own datasette instance, but had to take it down after abusive traffic drove the bandwidth bill through the roof.
If you're interested to play around with some datasets we really recommend having a look in the fivethirtyeight datasette service. There are many interesting datasets in there that should saturate the curious among us.
We can also recommend checking out some talks done by the creator of the package. There's a track record of interesting work. You can follow him on twitter as well.
